  1. There is no obligation to read any Beta Read or ARC of which you are notified.

  2. If you are not already a member of my relevant Newsletter Mailing List, then you will be added to it as well.

  3. All subscriptions can be changed at any time you like.

  4. A list of ARC and Beta Read downloads will be kept. If you develop a history of downloading a Beta Read or ARC but do not give feedback or leave a review, then you will be removed from the list. I understand all too well that life often gets in the way of our best plans, so you will only be removed from the list after a confirmation of activity email is sent after three months and there is no confirmation after a further one month. How does it work?

Pretty simple. I have a rather sporadic and haphazard way of dealing with my writing, admittedly - though I'm trying to get better, this year is the year of organisation (*snort*). So, your email won't be bombarded with newsletters or updates or anything. The way the process works is, once you're signed up to the Beta Crew, then you have access to Beta and ARC versions of all my books. You get to choose whether you're involved in the beta stage, the ARC stage, or both!


In the beta stage, I post the books up chapter by chapter in their own category and you can read and make comments and suggestions on how the story's going. I also endeavour to have a full beta version available for download for those who prefer to read the whole thing in one go - I've got…

Beta/ARC Guidelines

Just as a quick point of reference after a few questions on it; what I'm looking for in readers varies depending on what point in the process we are. For an ARC, just a review on any site (Amazon, Kobo, Goodreads, etc.) you can fling it is awesome - same way you would any other book you read.

If the book is in the beta stages, I'll sometimes send out some questions I'm particularly looking at having answered. I'll put the questions at the end of the eBook because I know some people like to do a clean read with no outside influence (but, there will be a link to jump forwards and back in case you want to read them first). And, they'll also go up in the relevant forum category for you to peruse at your leisure.
